122nd Avenue Plan - Online open house

Information
The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) is working with the community to develop a comprehensive plan for improvements along 122nd Avenue. Walk through the information and slides from our online open house.

About the 122nd Avenue Plan online open house

Since 2018, the Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) has been developing a comprehensive plan for how to improve safety, access, and transit along 122nd Avenue between NE Marine Drive and SE Foster Road.

The goals of the plan are to increase safety for all, improve pedestrian and bicycle access, and support better transit while balancing needs of freight and other modes. Additionally, the plan aims to identify improvements to help eliminate serious injuries and fatalities and remove 122nd Avenue from our list of High Crash Corridors, the network of our most dangerous streets identified by our Vision Zero work.

To meet these goals, the plan recommends changes to crossings, intersections, signals, and lightning. It also recommends upgrades to meet ADA standards as well as various improvements to make the road safer for people taking transit or biking.

Use the menu at the right to browse the online open house. We will go through the existing conditions along 122nd Avenue, our planning process, and our proposed recommendations for the corridor.

The online survey is now closed.  We are currently reviewing the feedback we received and incorporating it into the final 122nd Avenue Plan, which will be available in early 2022. Although the survey is now closed, you can still browse the online open house to learn about the proposed recommendations.
