Changes to credit and debit card processing fees

Starting June 3, 2025, customers who use a credit or debit card to pay their sewer, stormwater, and water bill will pay a 2.95% processing fee. To avoid this fee, customers can make an electronic payment directly from their bank account. Learn more.

Fees for sewer lateral repair and connection permits increasing July 1

Portland Permitting and Development (PP&D) and Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) have partnered to adjust the fees for sewer lateral repair (UR) and sewer connection (UC) permits to ensure full cost recovery for this important program.

Public Works permits can now use ProjectDox

Portland Permitting & Development is excited to announce that public works permit requests can now be processed through ProjectDox, the City of Portland’s online plan review software. All new public works permits will use ProjectDox by May 1.
