Administrative Rules currently undergoing a public comment period:

TRN-10.06 - Portland in the Streets Program Administrative Rules

TRN-10.21 - Insurance Requirements for Permits in the Public Right-Of-Way

PBOT is updating TRN-10.06 (Portland in the Streets Program Administrative Rules) and TRN-10.21 (Insurance Requirements for Permits in the Public Right-Of-Way). These rules describe PBOT’s insurance requirements for permits, and more specifically the review process. The existing rules require that the City Attorney’s Office approve all insurance certificates and endorsements prior to permit issuance. These administrative rules are more restrictive than Portland City Code 17.24.050 with respect to this process, and the updated rules would bring them into alignment with City Code, simplify the process, reduce the burden on the City Attorney’s Office, and speed up the issuance of permits.
