Basic traffic control devices and vendors

Information
The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) may require traffic control for work in the public right-of-way. Equipment may be bought or rented. Here are basic examples of traffic control and a partial list of vendors in the Portland area. Vendor list does not indicate a preference.

Type 1 barricade, also known as oilers

Parking space outline, signage inside plazas, or for locations where a plaza meets a residential street. Note, to keep from falling in the wind, drape 5-10 pounds of rice or sand in a garbage bag or other container.
