6:20-8:00 – PAC Walking Meeting of Downtown Infrastructure (1 hour and 40 min)
Our August meeting is our annual in person walking meeting and will be held on Tuesday, August 11^th. Note this is one week ahead of our usual meeting.

Our walking meeting will focus on new infrastructure and amenities in downtown Portland. We will start at southeast corner of Pioneer Courthouse Square. We will then walk to SW 4^th Avenue to see the new streetscape project and hear from the project manager on how this updated design makes the road safer for pedestrians and cyclists. We will walk along 4^th Ave to Harvey Milk. Then we will walk up to SW Broadway and see the new planters that have been added to the protected bike lane. From there we will go just a couple of blocks to the new Darcelle XV Plaza. We will end the walk at The Cart Blocks on SW Park and Burnside, where we can grab a snack or beverage and discuss what we saw on the walk.
