Traffic Change on the NE Halsey Street Bridge
Beginning Monday, February 16, the travel pattern will change for people driving west on the NE Halsey Street bridge over NE 82nd Avenue. This change is expected to remain in place for about two months.
- Eastbound travel: No impacts.
- Westbound travel: Access to NE Halsey Street west of NE 81st Avenue will be closed. Access to westbound I-84 will remain open.
Access to businesses will remain open. There are no new impacts to TriMet stops or routes.
We know this temporary change may be inconvenient for some travelers, and we appreciate your patience while this work is underway. We're working to complete the improvements as quickly as possible to make travel on NE Halsey Street safer and more comfortable for everyone. Thank you for your understanding as we finish this important work.
