Construction Schedule for NE Halsey Safety and Access to Transit Project NE 68th - 92nd Avenues

Contractor work hours are 7am to 5pm, with intent to avoid night and weekend work.

December 2025
NE Halsey 84th to 91st Avenues 

  • Traffic: Temporary lane reductions but minimal impact to vehicle traffic.
  • Bus stops:
    • Westbound NE Halsey at 88th Avenue stop will be closed
    • Westbound NE Halsey at 86th stop will move from NE corner of intersection to NW corner of intersection.
  • On-street parking: No on-street parking on north side of NE Halsey. Some south side on-street parking maintained.

Mini-roundabout construction traffic impacts at NE Halsey and NE 80th Ave

During the first phase of mini-roundabout construction, through traffic will not be able to travel on NE 80th or NE 81st avenues between NE Halsey and NE Clackamas streets. All driveways on these blocks will remain open for use.

In 2026 during the second phase of work, the NE Halsey bridge over I-84 will only connect west bound travelers to the I-84 freeway entrance. No impacts to eastbound travel over the NE Halsey bridge is expected.
