News Article
Published

(September 2, 2025) Construction crews are continuing work on NE Halsey Street between NE 84th and NE 92nd avenues as part of the larger Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) Safety and Access to Transit Project.

Throughout September, crews will be working on NE Halsey Street between NE 84th and NE 92nd avenues. Their work will include:

  • Clearing obstructions to make room for sidewalk construction
  • Installing new accessible curb ramps and driveway connections on the north side of NE Halsey Street between 85th and 92nd avenues
  • Building underground stormwater infrastructure to help reduce flooding, protect nearby properties and improve travel conditions for all users.

PBOT is working to reduce impacts on neighbors and businesses during construction. Community members should expect some traffic flagging on NE Halsey near active work areas. Crews will notify neighbors and businesses directly about any work that may temporarily affect property access.
