(August 12, 2025) We’re writing to provide an update on construction along NE Halsey Street between NE 84th and 92nd avenues.
Due to recent resource constraints, our construction contractor’s crews will be stepping away from the site for two to three weeks.
This pause should not affect our overall project schedule. Once work resumes, the contractor anticipates adding additional crews to the project.
In the meantime, you may notice the following changes along NE Halsey between NE 84th and 92nd avenues:
- Some construction signs will be covered until the contractor returns.
- Some “No Parking” signs will be removed for two to three weeks.
About completed work
Over the past month, contractors have been hard at work installing tree protection fencing and erosion control measures. They've also been preparing the ground for demolition and excavation in advance of building new curbs, driveways, and sidewalks.
