The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) is seeking input from businesses in the heart of St. Johns to help inform how traffic detours might look during construction.

The PBOT N Lombard Main Street Repair project will remove old, buried rail lines in N Lombard that make the street difficult to maintain. It will also add improvements for pedestrian use, transit and more.
With design nearly complete, PBOT's traffic engineers are working on the construction detour plan for St. Johns. Construction timing is still difficult to predict but will most likely begin in summer 2021 and conclude in winter 2022.
