Summary of past engagement for the Broadway Pave and Paint project.

Community Engagement Summary

Between July 2024 and January 2025 the project team presented project ideas and asked community members to share key issues, their priorities for the corridor, and feedback on preliminary designs. 

Outreach by the numbers:

  • 1 online open house
  • 1 community walk
  • 10 presentations and public meetings
  • 6,000+ mailers sent
  • 540+ visitors to the online open house
  • 250+ survey responses on project ideas

Past Engagement Activities

PBOT staff provided ten presentations and discussion sessions with key groups including:

  • Northeast Broadway Business Association - NEBBA (7/17/24 and 11/19/24)
  • Sullivan's Gulch Neighborhood Association (8/19/24 and 11/18/24)
  • City of Portland Bicycle Advisory Committee (9/10/24 and 1/14/25)
  • Irvington Community Association (9/12/24 and 1/9/25)
  • Oregon Walks Main Street Walk (9/23/24)
  • GoLloyd (11/7/24)
