The SE 80th Avenue and Mill Street Project project is complete! This project upgraded two routes used by children to get to Harrison Park Middle School and Bridger Elementary.

Project Background

City Council formed the LID on January 24, 2018. Design and right-of-way acquisition are complete, and bids were opened on July 30, 2019. The City Engineer issued a Notice to Proceed to the contractor on November 8, 2019 and construction was completed in Fall 2020.

Streets include:

SE 80th Avenue from 100 feet north of SE Grant Street to SE Market Street
SE Mill Street from SE 80th Avenue to SE 82nd Avenue

Project Funding

Property owners are providing funding for this project with overhead costs funded by the Portland Bureau of Transportation, Transportation System Development Charge (TSDC) and funding from the Bureau of Environmental Services.
