Paving completed on November 26, 2008

Traffic signal at SE Foster and Barbara Welch Roads (a prerequisite to opening SE 152nd Avenue) activated on December 3, 2008

Swale vegetation planting completed on December 3, 2008

Stop signs at the newly-realigned intersection of SE 152nd Avenue, SE Barbara Welch Road and SE Barbara Welch Lane completed on December 4, 2008

Speed bump installation completed on December 5, 2008

SE 152nd Avenue opened on December 5, 2008

Tree planting in swales completed on February 18, 2009

Final assessment completed on April 1, 2009

Transformer relocation and sidewalk infill construction on west side of SE 152nd Avenue between Henderson Way and Knapp Drive completed on April 24, 2009

Tree planting in planting strips completed on April 28, 2009

The height of the previously-installed speed bumps was increased by the contractor on June 4, 2009.

Project Funding

Property owners are funding this local improvement district with additional funding from the Waterleaf development and from the Bureau of Environmental Services.
