What’s happening now?

3-12-25 Update: Crews are currently working their way north from SW Mill, upgrading ADA corner ramps, running conduit for traffic signals and street lights, and repairing underground utilities. To maintain pedestrian access, crews are focusing on one corner per intersection at a time. There may be intermittent lane closures for underground utility work, but overall impacts to people driving should be minimal.

We’re also preparing to pave the west side of SW 4th Avenue between SW Lincoln and SW Harrison. Weather permitting, this paving is scheduled for the end of March. Paving on the west side between SW Harrison and SW Mill will follow thereafter. The final paving stretch, from SW Mill to W Burnside, is planned for this summer and will be phased to minimize disruptions.

The project remains on track for full completion by the end of 2025.
