The existing wall will be replaced by a new one supported on deep foundations, designed for resilience to earthquakes and landslides. Concurrent with the retaining wall work, we will also make guardrail improvements in the project vicinity.

The Portland Water Bureau will also be conducting work nearby on a water main that runs through SW Cross, SW Commonwealth, and SW Sheffield Avenues.
