What’s happening now? (Updated July 2024)

The project team is completing final design with construction expected late summer 2024/early fall 2024.

Project Description

Construct a protected safer shoulder on the north side of Boones Ferry Rd through restriping.

The safe shoulder will be approximately 730 ft in length and 5 ft in width. PBOT will install concrete separators to protect the walkway where possible, while accommodating for driveways and bus stops, approximately 425 ft in length. PBOT decided to update the design after hearing feedback from the Arnold Creek Neighborhood Assocation to include shoulder widening and extend the path north or SW Orchard Hill Rd.
