Construction Schedule

PBOT began constructing corner ramps in the summer of 2024. This work was complete in the summer of 2025. Repaving of SE Division Street will take place in the summer of 2026.

What to Expect During Construction

Construction is currently scheduled to begin in July of 2026. Total construction time is expected to be approximately 10 weeks. This schedule is tentative and may change, so please check back for updates.

PBOT plans to repave the corridor in segments to reduce impacts to businesses and neighbors, and to avoid full closures as much as possible. Once we have a contractor on board, we will be able to provide a detailed schedule outlining when each segment will be under construction and what the traffic impacts will be. Please check back for more information as construction approaches.

Project Scope

PBOT will be repaving SE Division Street from SE Cesar Chavez Blvd to SE 50th Avenue in the summer of 2025. As part of the project, we upgraded curb ramps to meet current ADA standards. This is required by federal law whenever we repave a street. Curb ramp construction began in June 2024 and finished in summer 2025.

This repaving project is funded through the City General Fund.
