NE Glisan Street and 70th Avenue Crossing Improvements

What's happening now?

Project engineers are working on the 95% design phase of the plans. Construction is anticipated in Fall 2026. 

Project overview

PBOT crews will make pedestrian safety improvements on the east leg of NE Glisan Street at NE 70th Avenue. Plans include updated ADA curb ramps, a marked crosswalk, new pedestrian refuge island, and street lighting assessments.

Timeline

This project is currently in design and construction is anticipated in Fall 2026. 

Funding

Project funding for design and construction was provided by Fixing our Streets, the 10-cent local gas tax.
