Construction underway and is anticipated to be complete in Spring 2021. NE 57th Avenue was paved on January 28, 2021.
Project Components
Streets include:
- NE 55th Avenue from NE Emerson Street to 151 feet south.
- NE 57th Avenue from NE Killingsworth Street to NE Emerson Street.
- NE Killingsworth Street from 567 feet east of NE 55th Avenue to NE 57th Avenue
City Council formed the LID on June 6, 2018.
Right-of-way acquisition and final plans are complete.
Bids were opened on July 14, 2020 and construction contract has been awarded.
The City Engineer issued a Notice to Proceed to begin construction on October 23, 2020.
Project Funding
Property owners are providing funding for this project with transportation system development charge (TSDC) funding and overhead costs funded by the Portland Bureau of Transportation.
