N Rosa Parks Way at Greeley Avenue Traffic Signal

Transportation
Engineering And Design
This project will replace the traffic signal on N Rosa Parks Way at Greeley Avenue.
Spring 2024

What's happening now?

We are designing the project. We are currently working on the near-final (95%) version of the design. Once the design is final, we will build the project using a combination of city staff and contractors.

Project Background

PBOT will replace the existing, aging traffic signal to ensure safe, reliable operations.

This project will also make several safety improvements:

  • New crosswalk on the west leg will help people cross Rosa Parks Way
  • Protected left-turn signal from Rosa Parks Way to Greeley Avenue will help prevent collisions between left-turning drivers and people in crosswalks
  • Driveway closure on the northeast corner will reduce conflicts people between driving and people using the sidewalk or transit stops

Project Funding

$1.5 million from local and state sources
