This project is constructing new sidewalks, ADA-accessible corner ramps, and signalized pedestrian crossings on SE Division Street between SE 101st and SE 143rd. It is also constructing the 130s Neighborhood Greenway between the I-84 multi-use path and the Springwater Corridor Trail.
What's happening now?
This project is substantially complete. The City's contractor is working on final clean-up of the project site. All work to be completed by October 2020.
Project background and description
The project is installing the 130s Neighborhood Greenway which will provide a north-south bicycle connection between the I-84 multi-use path and the Springwater Corridor Trail. See the map below for the alignment of this neighborhood greenway.
On SE Division, improvements include:
- constructing new sidewalk (where missing) between SE 101st and SE 143rd
- new ADA-accessible corner ramps and driveways
- three signalized pedestrian crossings at SE 115th Avenue, SE 132nd Avenue, and SE 139th Avenue and Division Street.
Project funding
$6.2 million ($4.2 million in federal funds, $1.4 million in Transportation System Development Charge funds, and $600,000 in State Gas Tax revenue)
