Cornfoot Road Multi-use Path: NE 47th Ave to NE Alderwood Rd

The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) will be constructing a multiuse path on the north side of NE Cornfoot Road from NE 47th Avenue to Alderwood Road.

What's happening now?

The project has completed the 30% design. We are moving forward with 60% design. Environmental work and Right-of-Way phase is also underway. Project is on schedule to complete design by the end of summer 2026, bidding in fall of 2026 and construction starting in early 2027.

Project components

  • 12-foot wide Multiuse Path: NE Cornfoot Road, from 47th Avenue to Alderwood Road
  • Upgrade some streetlights and install additional ones.
  • Install new trees in the corridor.
  • Widened sidewalk on NE 47th Avenue Slough Bridge.

Funding

This $6 million project is funded in part by Metro Trails ($4 million) and HVUT and PCEF.
