Construction

This project will reconstruct and repave SW 4th Avenue from SW Lincoln to SW Ankeny. A left-running protected bikeway, a bus and turn lane, and safer pedestrian crossings will be installed. ADA corner ramps will be upgraded.

Burnside was established as the city’s east-west axis in 1912. PBOT is working to make this critical street more efficient, allowing it to carry more people as the city grows. To this end, PBOT will install a Business Access and Transit (BAT) lane.

This project will improve transit and upgrade bike lanes on SW Jefferson between SW 15th and 18th avenues (Collins Circle).

Naito Parkway is a critical transportation spine along the west side of the Willamette. This project will implement a year-round version of Better Naito, providing a two-way cycletrack and sidewalk along the west side of Waterfront Park.

This project will implement recommendations from the Central City in Motion plan,  improving safety by upgrading pedestrian crossings and bike lanes. PBOT will also add a new bus and turn (BAT) lane on SE Hawthorne Boulevard and upgrade the existing bus lane on SE Madison Street.
