The Public Information Officer (PIO) for the Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) is available from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
For media inquiries, please contact PBOT’s Public Information Officer at PBOTPIO@portlandoregon.gov.
During inclement weather and/or city-declared emergencies, the Public Information Officer’s hours may expand according to the urgency of the event.
For media inquiries outside of regular business hours, please email pbotafterhoursmedia@portlandoregon.gov. Non-urgent inquiries will be redirected to the PIO for response during regular business hours.
Other media opportunities with PIO availability outside of business hours, such as weekend community events or public open houses, will be announced in advance via media advisory.
