Bob Stacey Overcrossing at Gideon Street in Southeast Portland

Elevator Status: Both elevators are in service.

PBOT returned the Bob Stacey Crossing elevators to full operational service on April 26th, 2022. This return to service comes after several months of interruption due to unexpected motor failures in both elevators. In efforts to avoid another failure, we are implementing additional monitoring through a partnership with PGE to ensure that the elevator motors are functioning properly. While we do not expect to identify any further issues, if we do detect irregularities, we may need to remove the elevators out of service to avoid a complete motor failure. We will continue to use the PBOT Elevator status webpage to provide up-to-date information regarding any outages.
