What is a Swing Shift Parking Pass?

A swing shift parking pass allows you to have access to a specified SmartPark Garage between the hours of 2:30 p.m. and 7 a.m. daily.

Effective September 1, 2025, swing shift parking passes are available to any swing shift or evening shift worker for $36 per month. See the news release about this update and other changes to parking in downtown Portland to learn more.

How do I qualify for a swing shift pass?

You must work a swing shift or evening shift schedule in downtown Portland. This program is not intended for downtown residents or for general daytime parking use.

What if I park in the garage outside of the swing shift pass hours?

Your swing shift parking pass is valid for parking between 2:30 PM and 7:00 AM, with a 10-minute grace period before and after these hours.

If you enter the garage outside these hours, you will be required to pull an entry ticket and pay the standard hourly parking rate.
