What is a Swing Shift Parking Pass?

A swing shift parking pass allows you to have access to a specified SmartPark Garage between the hours of 2:30 p.m. and 7 a.m. daily.

How do I qualify for a reduced rate swing shift pass?

You must meet both of the following qualification requirements.

  1. Income Threshold: Your salary/wages from your employer cannot exceed $46,000 annually. Your employer’s authorized representative must verify that your salary or wages do not exceed this threshold.
  2. Employment Status: You must work a swing shift or evening shift schedule. Your employer’s authorized representative must verify that you work for the company and that you work a swing shift or evening shift schedule.

What is the reduced rate and what is the normal swing shift rate?

The current monthly rate for the reduced rate swing shift pass is $36 per month at all SmartPark Garages. The normal swing-shift pass rate is different for each Garage.

What if I park in the garage outside of the swing shift pass hours?

If you park in the garage outside of the designated swing shift hours then you would have to pay for that time.  You can pay at the pay stations located in the garage elevator lobbies or at the garage exit.
