Step 2: Download and fill out the appropriate form
If you are renewing, you can upload a completed renewal packet instead of a new application. Be sure to complete all pages, including the section on if you need new permits, otherwise stickers will be mailed to you. The permits can still be made for "any vehicle displaying."
Step 3: Create online account and apply
- Visit the PBOT Parking Permits portal here. Accept cookies and set up new user. Review and accept terms and conditions. You will get an activation email. Once your account is activated, you can begin using the system to apply for the appropriate permits.
- Click the "Apply for Permit" button. You will complete this step for a new permit or a renewal.
- Select your parking zone: choose "Meter District" for permits in metered areas, "Nonmetered" for permits outside the meter districts, and "Other" for a single location or a replacement permit.
- Select permit type, start date, and quantity. Select July 1 start date to renew for the upcoming permit year. You do not need to enter license plates in the online system at this time. Permits are still paper dash permits.
- Upload the required form(s), including application or renewal form. Complete application.
- Review
Step 4: Pay and receive your permit
PBOT staff will review and either approve or request additional information.
When your application is approved, make your payment through the online portal via credit card or follows steps in the system to pay by check or money order.
