With the start of the school year, PBOT reminds the public that school routes are everywhere, urges Portlanders to 'drive like it'

With so many kids walking, biking and otherwise traveling on the city's sidewalks and streets, the Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) is urging people driving to be especially careful and to drive with extra caution and attention.

A smoother street is coming to NE Fremont Street from NE 38th to 21st avenues

Portlanders on the go have a new parking option

The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) has created new 5-minute parking zones for quick drop-offs and pickups. Parking in the zones is free. Dubbed 5-minute Fast Stops, the new zones will be installed initially along five commercial corridors across the city.
