The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) continues the paving season on Monday, July 27 with repaving 2.5 lane miles on NE Sacramento Street from NE 132nd to 148th avenues.

(July 23, 2026) The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) continues the paving season on Monday, July 27 with repaving 2.5 lane miles on NE Sacramento Street from NE 132nd to 148th avenues. The work is funded by Portland's voter-approved 10-cent gas tax and heavy vehicle use tax for fixing our streets and making them safer for all.
The street will be closed to through traffic during construction. Paving crews will work from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. on business days and possibly weekends. Local access to residences and businesses will remain available. The work is expected to be completed by August 13, 2026.
The traveling public is advised to expect delays, travel cautiously, observe all closures and directions by flaggers, and use alternate routes if possible. Sidewalks will remain open at all times for pedestrians.
This work is weather-dependent, and the schedule may change.
