(May 31, 2024) Paving work begins on Tuesday, June 4 on SW Alice Street from SW Capitol Highway to SW 35th Avenue, as part of the Portland Bureau of Transportation’s (PBOT) ongoing street maintenance program. The work is expected to last approximately four days, with work occurring between 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays, with some weekend work.
The traveling public is advised to expect delays while repairs are being made. We ask the public to travel slowly and cautiously in our work zones, observe all detours and directions by reader boards and flaggers, and use alternate routes if possible. Expect dust, noise, vibrations, and heavy equipment on SW Alice Street and side streets. As always, please keep our crews safe by following all traffic control signs and flaggers while travelling through or near work zones.
