Prolonged rain over the weekend lead to more erosion along NW Germantown Road. Fully closing the road allows PBOT crews to more efficiently clean up the tons of debris and rocks. This material is clogging culverts, preventing rain water from going under NW Germantown Road as it moves down the hillside. Local access has been preserved, so people living along this closed section of NW Germantown Road can access their homes. PBOT crews appreciate the patience from travelers impacted by the road closure.
