(May 26, 2022) It’s time to kick off our 15th year of summer fun with the Portland Bureau of Transportation’s (PBOT) Portland Sunday Parkways presented by Kaiser Permanente! With two in-person events and five self-guided Sticker Hunts across the city, we have many ways you can connect with family, friends or neighbors while biking, walking or rolling.

Experience Sunday Parkways any day

From June through August, you can explore neighborhoods across Portland with friends and family by playing the Kaiser Permanente Sticker Hunt

Five self-guided routes will take you on a tour of some of Portland’s favorite parks, business districts and community spaces using the city’s neighborhood greenways. Along the way discover a new favorite restaurant, beautiful parks in which to relax, and calm streets for walking, biking, and rolling.

How to Play the Kaiser Permanente Sticker Hunt

1. Visit all six featured locations on the map. Look for a sidewalk sticker at each location.

2. Do the activity listed on each sidewalk sticker, then attach the matching small sticker to your map.

3. Take your completed map to any Portland Nursery location and receive a complimentary 4” herb plant.

4. PLAY, CONNECT, MOVE, NOURISH, DISCOVER and THRIVE all summer long!

Sticker Hunts will take place in East Portland, North Portland, Northeast Portland, Northwest Portland and Southeast Portland.

Community members who live near Sticker Hunt routes will be mailed a kit directly to their door in early June, so keep your eyes out! Don’t live along the route? No problem! We will have Kaiser Permanente Sticker Hunt kits available for pick-up at local businesses including the Portland Nursery. Visit kp.org/sundayparkways for locations and be sure to check their business hours before you head out.

Save the date for June 26 live event in Northeast Cully

Our first in-person open streets event of the season is on June 26 in Northeast Cully! Come with friends and neighbors for a day filled with fun and free activities. We’ll have free fitness classes, performances by local musicians, vendor booths to discover community resources, and tasty food from local restaurants.

Streets along the six-mile route will be closed to car traffic, making space for people to walk, bike, scoot, and roll. The event is from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and you can hop on the route at any point to explore at your leisure. Each of the four parks will have activities and marketplaces so make sure to check each one out.
