(Feb. 22, 2022) Electrical crews from the Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) will make repairs to the traffic signal at the intersection of West Burnside and Broadway on Wednesday, Feb. 23 between 7:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
Crews will be repairing a damaged signal pole and traffic signal. To provide a safe work zone for workers, southbound travelers in motor vehicles on NW Broadway will be detoured to NW 5th Avenue via NW Couch Street. Flaggers at NW Couch Street will assist people biking with safely continuing southbound on NW Broadway. At least one lane on West Burnside will remain open in each direction for the duration of the repairs.
The traveling public is advised to expect delays while repairs are being made. We ask the public to travel cautiously, observe all lane closures and directions by reader boards and flaggers, and use alternate routes if possible.
