Go By Greenways is a scavenger hunt game that you can play while exploring East Portland infrastructure improvements. Your goal? Search for hidden zebra signs along the greenways, and text the code word on the sign to be entered to win prizes.

(Sept. 15, 2021) There’s still time to play East Portland Go By Greenways before the game ends on September 26th. People from all over Portland have been playing and winning prizes as they check out the newly completed neighborhood greenways, sidewalks and bike lanes in East Portland.

Go By Greenways is a scavenger hunt game that you can play while exploring East Portland infrastructure improvements. Your goal? Search for hidden zebra signs along the greenways, and text the code word on the sign to be entered to win prizes. Use our online map to get the general location of the hidden zebras.

Oregon Walks will be hosting a short, guided Go By Greenways Walk along East Portland Greenways during Steptember. The walk will take place on Saturday, September 25 at 2:00pm beginning at Lincoln City Park at SE 135thAve and Mill St, ending at the Rosewood Saturday Celebrations, a community multicultural market and fair located at SE Stark St and 162nd Ave.

Join the walk to explore the new neighborhood greenways and for a chance to win prizes while you play Go By Greenways. Then take in the array of makers selling their goods, food vendors, community resources, a COVID-19 vaccine clinic, and more family fun at Rosewood Saturday Celebrations.

Greenways are streets with low traffic volume and speed where bicycles, pedestrians and neighbors are given priority. They are designed for people of all ages to have the opportunity to bike, walk, roll, scoot, and get exercise.
