(April 22, 2021) Paving work begins this Monday, April 26 on NW Skyline Boulevard from NW Hawkins Boulevard to NW Cornell Road, as part of the Portland Bureau of Transportation’s (PBOT) ongoing street maintenance program. The work is expected to last approximately five business days, with work occurring between 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

During construction, travelers will be detoured to NW Thompson Road. Flaggers will be on-site to direct traffic.

In total, PBOT crews will grind down and repave approximately 0.5 lane miles of pavement.

The traveling public is advised to expect delays while repairs are being made. We ask the public to travel slowly and cautiously in our work zones, observe all detours and directions by reader boards and flaggers, and use alternate routes if possible.

This work is weather-dependent and the schedule may change.

Special note regarding COVID-19 and construction work

PBOT has been in modified operations since March 17, 2020 and has implemented specific measures to ensure the safety of our crews and contractors. This includes modified shifts, social distancing, and other precautions based on current guidelines from local, state, and federal health officials. Thank you for giving our crews and contractors the space and time they need to keep our city moving.
