Ipoding the Open Road

Label: News article
Published

Rubber to the Road is a two volume collection of great bicycle rides in the metro area with proceeds from the book sales going to the Bicycle Transportation Alliance and the Community Cycling Center.  In addition to the two guidebooks, a website www.rubbertotheroad.com inclueds some of the rides, GPS information, picutres, and more to help you pick a perfect route for work or for play.

Now the creatives behind these fantastic books have developed an Ipod download with 44 rides, turn-by-turn directions and audio commentary to accompany your ride.  While I don't recommend riding with your headphones on, this is a great resource for getting out to the open road.

The 44 rides are downloadable for free at www.notescasts.com/sports/cycling.html.
