August 6, 2015)  Looking for fun, healthy things to do with your family? Legacy Emanuel Medical Center and Randall Children’s Hospital host the Legacy Family Wellness Fair on Saturday, August 8 from 10am to 2pm at 2801 N Gantenbein Ave.

Celebrate health and wellness, learn about healthy habits and purchase bike or multi-sport helmets for $6 – all helmets are properly fit by trained staff and volunteers. Oregon law requires any person under the age of 16 riding a bicycle or being carried on a bicycle to wear approved protective headgear. This Legacy event is an economical way to outfit the entire family with bike helmets and to make sure they are sized and adjusted properly.

There will also be a child’s car safety seat clinic where you can check your child’s car seat and receive education on proper use and installation. And many other community partners will host booths and activities for the entire family. Talk to experts about healthy habits for all ages, explore helicopters, police, fire, and safety vehicles, and participate in healthy food and yoga demonstrations and more.
