All five Sunday Parkways routes showcase low-traffic streets called ‘neighborhood greenways’ as well as City parks that people can enjoy all year long for their own bicycling and walking trips. “The idea that every day can be Sunday Parkways supports what we tell our patients – incorporate activity into your daily life” says Kaiser Permanente cardiologist Dr. Timothy Jacobson. And Commissioner Steve Novick believes “every day can be Sunday Parkways for thousands of Portlanders when we provide safe routes for people to bike and walk.”
The newest route addition this year includes the Tilikum Crossing Bridge of the People and the Sellwood area. Be sure to get all these dates on your calendar and go to www.portlandsundayparkways.org for all the details. You can also "like" Sunday Parkways on Facebook and follow Sunday Parkways on Twitter
