(February 13, 2015) – The Portland Bureau of Transportation advises the traveling public that private development at SE 11th Avenue and SE Belmont Street will require partial and full overnight closures on those streets from February 16 through March 13, 2015.

The partial or full closures will take place between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. to minimize disruption to the traveling public.

SE 11th Avenue between SE Taylor and Belmont streets will close overnight on Monday Feb. 16, and a detour will be in effect.

Overnight lane closures will be in effect for one block each of SE Belmont Street and SE 11th Avenue Feb. 17 through Feb. 20.  Travelers should expect delays.

A full closure will again be in effect for SE 11th Avenue from February 23 through Mar. 13, and a detour will be in effect.

These overnight closures are necessary to allow the private development contractor to build and connect a sewer line to the public system as well as build two manholes. The contractor also is installing a new storm drain.

The public is advised to travel cautiously in the work zone and to observe detours. Travelers are advised to use alternate routes if possible.
