SmartPark Garages Closed on Christmas Day

On-street metered parking free on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day

(PORTLAND, Ore.) – The Portland Bureau of Transportation SmartPark garages will close at 11 p.m. on Thursday, December 24, and remain closed on Christmas Day.  The garages will re-open on Saturday, December 26 at 5 a.m. The one exception is the O’Bryant Square SmartPark garage. This garage will close at 7 p.m. on Thursday, December 24 and will not re-open for regular business hours until Monday, December 28 at 6:30 a.m.

On-street metered parking will be free on Christmas Day and then resume normal business operation on December 26.

New Year’s Holiday

All SmartPark Garages will be open for regular business hours on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.  On-street parking will be free at the meters on New Year’s Day. Regular business hours and rates for on-street meters apply all other days.

The six City of Portland SmartPark parking garages include nearly 3,800 public parking spaces and serve shoppers, business clients and visitors to Downtown Portland.
