(Dec. 11, 2015) -- The Portland Bureau of Transportation advises the traveling public that repairs to the roadway shoulder after a landslide will require lane closures on West Burnside Road between SW Tichner Drive and the West Burnside Tunnel from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday Dec. 14.

At least one travel lane in each direction will be open at all times.

The lane closure will allow crews to replace shoulder rock and other material that help keep the roadway safe.

Lane closures are only in effect during project work hours. Access will be maintained for businesses and residents during the project.

The traveling public is advised to use caution and expect delays while repairs are being made. We ask the public to travel cautiously, observe all lane closures and directions by reader boards and flaggers, and use alternate routes if possible.

This work is weather-dependent and the schedule may change.
