PBOT Snowplow Naming Contest: Winter 2024 - 2025

Make history this winter season and help name five PBOT snowplows! Crews have been preparing for the possibility of winter weather since October and we need your help! This year, we’re asking the public to help name five of our 56 snowplows.
A real snowplow on a snowy street sits next to a cartoon snowplow driven by a yeti.

Help name a PBOT snowplow in our inaugural snowplow naming contest! Did you know the Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) owns and operates 56 snowplows? PBOT invites the public to submit name ideas for five of them.
