The Portland Freight Advisory Committee (PFC) serves as an advisory group to the Bureau of Transportation and City Council on issues related to freight mobility. The PFC was formed in February 2003 and includes both community member volunteers and public agency representatives.

PFC members report on current activities from their respective industry and agencies. Reminder that December meeting will be hybrid format. 

9:00 AM – Commodities Movement Study Update -Part II
Tim Collins (Metro)
Metro staff will provide an update on the key finding from the Commodity Movement Study. The staff will present the resulting regional maps that provide an analysis of average travel speeds throughout the day on the regional freight roadways, and the truck travel time reliability index during the AM and Mid-day for those freight roadways.

9:30 AM – PBOT's Budget
Art Pearce (PBOT)
PBOT’s Policy Planning and Projects Group Director will provide an update on current PBOT’s FY 2024-25 budget. See more information here.

9:50 AM – Portland Economic Opportunities Analysis (EOA): land supply and demand
Steve Kountz (BPS)
BPS staff will present the draft employment land forecast to 2045 and current land supply analysis of the EOA Update.

10:20 AM – Public Comments
Jana Jarvis
Members of the public can provide comment and ask questions to the committee and staff.
