The Portland Freight Advisory Committee (PFC) serves as an advisory group to the Bureau of Transportation and City Council on issues related to freight mobility. The PFC was formed in February 2003 and includes both community member volunteers and public agency representatives.

7:50 AM - Update on the re-established Traffic Division
Ty Engstrom (Portland Police Bureau)
Portland Police Bureau will provide an update on the re-established Traffic Division and provide some of their feedback on current safety issues.

8:10 AM - Interstate Bridge Replacement (IBR) Briefing
Patrick Sweeney (PBOT); and Ray Mabey, IBR Program Assistant Administrator, and Casey Liles or Shilpa, IBR Program Design Leads (IBR Team)
The IBR staff will provide a presentation focused on Interstate Bridge Replacement Program Update and the next steps on the Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (SEIS) process.

9:00 AM - Commodities Movement Study Update
Tim Collins (Metro)
Metro staff will provide an update on the key finding from the Commodity Movement Study. The staff will present the resulting regional maps that provide an analysis of average travel speeds throughout the day on the regional freight roadways, and the truck travel time reliability index during the AM and Mid-day for those freight roadways.
