Report a streetlight problem

Service
Report a streetlight outage, a light going on and off (cycling), a streetlight that's on during the day, vandalism, or any other problem with a streetlight. The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) relies on reports like yours to fix issues with our 55,000 streetlights.

A report should take 5 minutes to complete. Simple repairs may take up to 2 weeks.

Gather your information

Be prepared to provide as much information as you can about the location including the closest address, cross street, and map and pole number (typically found on the "pole tag," a 3-inch round metal plate about eye level on the streetlight itself). Not all streetlights have a pole tag, but if they do, these numbers will help ensure we get to the right problem.
