The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) is updating sections of Title 17 to align with changes being made to the Residential Infill Project (RIP). These changes are administrative in nature and are being made in partnership with the Bureau of Environmental Services. The full list of code changes can be found here.
The public comment period is open until June 30, 2021, which will conclude with a hearing at the Portland City Council. The opportunity for public testimony will be available at the council hearing. Any comments ahead of the council date may be submitted to pbotpolicycomments@portlandoregon.gov and will be reviewed by PBOT staff.
This code change will be heard at the Portland City Council on June 30, 2021 as an emergency, regular agenda ordinance. Please refer to the Portland City Auditor’s website for more information and any updates on the Council hearing.
