Portland Bicycle Advisory Committee - June 2026 Meeting

SE 11th /12th Bikeway Project (6:10-6:30)
To improve safety, and keep the Central Eastside moving, PBOT will restripe SE 11th and 12th between Ankeny and Clay to add buffered bicycle lanes. The buffered lanes will also provide a wider operating space for freight and buses. Project Manager Gabe Graff will present to the committee.

Business Engagement and Support for Bicycling (6:30-7:15)
At the April 2026 BAC meeting committee members wondered about PBOT's relationship with Portland businesses and whether business support for bicycling infrastructure and associated efforts is rising or falling. Art Pearce, Deputy Director at PBOT and Mitch Daugherty, Prosper Portland's Manager for the Office of Small Business, will share their perspectives with the committee.

Proposal for a North-60s Mini-Greenway (7:15-7:40)
A presentation from community member Rob Galanakis requesting committee support for changes to the Transportation System Plan between SE 53rd and Stark and NE 62nd and Glisan to better support safe routes to school and upcoming affordable housing developments.
