Public Comment (6:10-6:15) 

Bike Bus Forum, Part II (6:15-7:05) 
At the March BAC meeting representatives from Bike Bus PDX asked the BAC to support their proposed resolution calling for better operating conditions on neighborhood greenways used by bike buses. This month the committee will hear from PBOT staff about the bureau’s current work program to support bike buses.

2024 Bicycle Count Report (7:05-7:25)
Portland’s 2024 Bicycle Count Report is now published. PBOT Planner Sean Doyle managed the count and will present and discuss findings with the committee.

Committee Exercises (7:25-7:55)

  • Mapping neighborhood greenway trouble spots: Committee members will identify areas on a map of greenways where they have personal experience of uncomfortable conditions.
  • Volunteer sign up: Committee members will be asked to sign up to lead rides from satellite parks to the Downtown Sunday Parkway in September and to support neighborhood bike buses. More details to come.
