Interstate Bridge Replacement (6:10-6:55)
PBOT Major Projects & Transit Division Manager Caitlin Reff will introduce the city's role and priorities related to the Interstate Bridge Replacement Program. Staff from IBR will join to walk through the Modified Locally Preferred Alternative and what has been studied in the Draft Supplemental Draft EIS and the proposal for active transportation facilities. The Interstate Bridge Replacement Program (IBRP) is currently in the 60-day public comment period on the Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (DSEIS). The comment period runs from September 20 to November 18.
Bike Lane Hardening in SW: a consideration of best use of PBOT’s funding (6:55-7:25)
Former committee chair and SW resident Keith Liden drafted a letter to BAC members and city staff about funding priorities for bicycle facilities in SW Portland. Keith will formally present his thinking, followed by a Committee discussion.
