Project Background
PBOT reorganized the road to create bike lanes that connect neighborhoods to Jackson Middle School and future biking connections. The speed limit is 25 miles per hour on SW 35th. This project was first identified in the Portland Bike Plan for 2030 (created in 2010) and was prioritized for implementation in the Southwest in Motion plan for active transportation projects in Southwest Portland.
